The Global Excel Summit has become a reference for the Excel community. It is an award-winning Microsoft Excel virtual conference for professionals and enthusiasts, bringing together 30 of the brightest minds from the world of Excel. The 3rd edition happened from Feb 6th to Feb 8th, 2023 and was a great success (again!), with great sessions and learning and networking opportunities.

The event gathered participants from 127 countries (I guess this makes them worthy of the “global” portion in their name) and was run on the hopin virtual platform, which offers a virtual experience probably as close to an in-person event as you can get when you are online. Besides the main stages where the conferences happened, we had a lounge area where other presentations and networking took place and an exhibition space where companies (Solve & Excel Consulting  included) had booths presenting their products and services and could interact live with the event attendees.  

I was thrilled and honored to present for the 3rd time at this event. In my session, “The magic of Names in Excel,” I gave examples of why I use Named Ranges so much in the Excel solutions I develop.
